After 30 years living in a small town in Northern Ireland, I decided to take up the offer from my girlfriend to go and live in Coconut Grove, Miami.
Previous to this and despite the 4 visits I had made over our two year relationship, my experiences and knowledge of Miami are mostly based on Scarface, GTA Vice City, The Golden Girls and Cocaine Cowboys.
The aim of this blog is to record my thoughts, feelings and observations on the perpetually warm, ever so friendly and affluent Coconut Grove.
